The team successfully completed the 2023 expedition to Umm al-Dabadib, despite the heat and the wind (and the giant spiders!).
The team completed the reassessment of the sequence of cemeteries and ceramic dumps along Aqueduct 5, started in 2022, and investigated an isolated building to the north of the Fortified Settlement, where in 2022 the strong wind revealed the presence of a large terracotta basin.
